Enjoy the economical
You won’t need to worry about being burnt when you get your next power bill if you choose an electric Traeger grill. The excellent energy efficiency means that it will use 300 watts over the first four minutes after being turned on and then just 50 watts. It is also powered by a normal household outlet, meaning that you don’t need a heavy-duty outside socket to get that veggie or meat mountain cooking.
Another top feature is the shut down cycle. Once all the cooking is complete, the induction fan stays running for another five minutes to lift ash out of the fire pit and then cleverly shuts down automatically.
One size does not have to fit all
To add to its versatility and flexibility, the electric Traeger electric pellet grill and smoker is available in two sizes: the smaller Pro Series 22 and the large Pro Series 34.
The Pro Series 22 may be classed as the ‘small’ choice; however, the main rack will still hold either a massive 16 burgers, four chickens, 24 hots dogs or four racks of ribs, which is plenty for most families or small groups. There is also an extra rack that can hold another eight burgers or 12 hot dogs.
The Pro Series 22 offers 572 square inches of grilling space. The main rack measures 22 inches by 19 inches, while the extra rack is 22 inches by seven inches. It may be smaller, but it is still perfectly formed.
If you need an electric Traeger grill that can cook up plentiful supplies of party food - or have a really, really big or hungry family - there is also the Pro Series 34 with its 884 square inches of grilling space, main rack measuring 34 inches by 19 inches, and extra rack measuring 34 inches by seven inches.
The main rack will easily hold either 24 burgers, 32 hot dogs, six chickens or nine racks of ribs, while the extra rack holds 16 burgers or 24 hot dogs if you are feeling hungry!
