Our Mosaic Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Oven has superior insulation and allows for more Thermal Mass. There are four layers of insulation that give this oven the edge. The more insulation the more effective your heat will be. Once cured, light a wood fire inside the oven and allow time for the oven to get up to full temperature. Once up to temperature the oven will stay warm for a very long time. This is what makes the oven so versatile.
At full temperature your oven is perfect for cooking pizzas in a matter of minutes. But while the oven is slowly cooling it is ideal for cooking roasts or slow cooking meat over a length of time for juicy succulent results. Bread also tastes great when cooked in a pizza oven. Take the opportunity whilst the oven is cooling to bake your own bread!
Use good quality hardwood logs to create a fire in your oven. Light the fire in the middle of the oven floor to heat the stones evenly. Once up to temperature use a tool to push the fire to the side or back of the oven and place your pizza directly onto the hot stone floor. The stone acts as a pizza stone ensuring the pizza base is cooked to perfection. There’s nothing worse than a pizza with a soggy bottom!
This oven is a similar model to the Mediterrani Royal Pizza Oven but the eye catching feature of this oven is the blue or red mosaic outer decoration. The extra layer slightly increases the oven’s thermal mass but its main function is for decoration. Choose either the cool blue or hot red mosaic exterior. Both are true to traditional Portuguese design and will make a beautiful feature in your garden or on your patio.
The inner dimensions of the oven are 80 x 80cm, exactly the same as the Mediterrani Royal. However due to the fantastic outer coating the outer dimensions are slightly larger than the Mediterrani Royal at 110 x 110cm.
Due to the size and 650 kg weight of this oven, it is delivered to you on a pallet on the back of a lorry. We will call you before delivery to ensure the lorry can access your property and to arrange a suitable delivery day with you. Delivery is free to all mainland UK addresses and takes a minimum of 48 hours. Please remember to plan how you will move the oven to your desired location once it is delivered to you. Please note this oven must be kept under a covered outdoor area or at the very least must be protected with a waterproof cover to ensure the oven is not damaged by the elements. A weatherproof cover is included with this oven to protect it when not in use.
